Founded in 2002, Second Wind Fund (SWF) is a Colorado 503(c)(3) that believes every child and youth at risk for suicide should have access to the mental health treatment they need. SWF matches children and youth at risk for suicide with licensed therapists in their communities. If a financial or social barrier to treatment is present, SWF will pay for up to 12 sessions of therapy from its specialized network providers. SWF currently serves 30 counties in Colorado.
